By accessing and using Likeness ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

Likeness is a marketplace that connects face providers ("Providers") with production companies and advertisers ("Clients") for the purpose of licensing facial imagery for use in advertising and marketing campaigns.

3. User Accounts

Providers: By creating an account, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal right to license your own image.

Clients: By creating an account, you confirm that you represent a legitimate business entity and will only use licensed images for agreed-upon purposes.

4. Image Rights and Licensing

For Providers:

  • You retain all rights to your images
  • You grant Likeness a non-exclusive license to display your images on the Platform
  • When a Client selects your image, a separate licensing agreement will be established
  • You can withdraw your images at any time, except for those already under contract

For Clients:

  • Selection of an image does not grant usage rights until a licensing agreement is signed
  • Usage is limited to the scope defined in the licensing agreement
  • Unauthorized use may result in legal action

5. Pricing and Payments

Providers may set minimum prices for different ad types. Final pricing is negotiated between Providers and Clients. Likeness may charge a service fee on completed transactions.

6. Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Platform for:

  • Illegal activities
  • Adult or explicit content
  • Defamatory or discriminatory content
  • Any use that violates another person's rights

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Personal information is collected only as necessary to operate the Platform. We do not sell personal information to third parties.

8. Disclaimer

THIS IS AN MVP/DEMO PLATFORM. The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for any damages arising from use of the Platform.
